Percussion Caption Head, Battery Arranger

Since 2003, Paul Curci has been in demand as a percussion educator and designer in the Southern California area. In that time, he has taught some of Ventura County’s most successful ensembles, a list that includes Buena High School, 2011/2013 Southern California Percussion Alliance A-Class Finalist, 2014/2015/2016, SCPA Open Class Finalist, and Westlake High School, 2011/2014 SCPA A-Class Finalist, 2012 SCPA A-Class Silver Medalist and 2013/2016 SCPA Open-Class Finalist.
 
As a performer, Curci marched snare for numerous drum corps and indoor percussion ensembles, including the Santa Clara Vanguard (2006) and Pulse Percussion (2005-2008).
 
Curci was a snare technician for Pulse Percussion from 2009-2010, and an ensemble coordinator for POW Percussion in 2012. He also served as a snare/visual instructor for the Sacramento Mandarins from 2009-2011, as well as co-caption manager for percussion in 2012.

Currently, Curci coordinates percussion for William S. Hart, Buena, Westlake, Moorpark, Camarillo, and Newbury Park high schools, and is proudly endorsed by Innovative Percussion.
 
Paul finished his bachelor or arts degree  in Liberal Studies (Teaching and Learning) at California State University, Channel Islands, in 2008.
