2020/2021 Music Dept Orientation
What do the district/county decisions mean for us? What does next year’s academic schedule look like? How will the Music Department approach this virtual environment. Please attend this Orientation to find out what the fall quarter looks like for the district and specifically for our department. Students and parents are encouraged to attend. Be prepared with questions.

History Night!
See past/current staff, alumni, and other familiar faces and discuss some of the history of the Camarillo Music Department and its evolution to where we are today. Our first episode will feature Alumni that have been in the music department in the last decade and their experiences. Appearances from Cody Dillon and Aaron Talabucon amongst other guests. They will share their experiences, impact of the music department on them and what they’re up to now.
Next week (week of 8/10):
We will be beginning Masterclasses by section, and hold an additional History Night going further back. Additionally, we will be starting a Watch Party featuring DCI and BOA shows with commentary. And finally, we will be doing a deep dive into the current senior class’ freshmen year show The Price of Progress with the designers.
