Instruments: Guitar, Clarinet, & Marching Bass Drum
Plan for the future: I want to be a Music Industry major. I want to go college and study music. I want to focus more on getting myself out there in the music industry and advance my skills as much as possible.
Travel aspirations: Visiting some place in Europe would be amazing. I would love to go either to Italy (maybe Venice) or London.
Proudest accomplishment: I’m very proud of how much I’ve grown as a person and as a musician. I have learned so much about myself and experienced so many things that enabled me to be out of my comfort zone. With music, I went from not knowing how to play any jazz chord to now, where I understand a lot more about jazz, have performed with a lot of different genre bands, and am now performing by myself when I can."
Favorite Memory: The Sonoma State Trip had so many memories. Ysabel (De la Pena), Kaylie (Pritchard) and I all bought so many snacks, lights and a speaker just for the hotel. Instead of going out to eat breakfast with everyone, we made waffles with a waffle maker Kaylie brought and ate them on the balcony.
Favorite musical piece/tune from high school: Too many to remember. "Purple Porpoise Parkway" or "Minuano" were the first I could think of.
Most underappreciated thing about high school: I will miss how easy it is to meet new people and make new friends.
Quarantine activities: I have been lucky I've been able to sleep in. I can practice anything music related a lot more than I ever have had time for, and I’ve had time to take care of myself physically, like working out and taking care of my mental health. Having this much time has helped me have time for what’s important and focusing on maintaining good relationships with people that are important to me.
What I've been watching in quarantine: I haven’t watched any shows but I have been watching a lot of Melissa McCarthy Movies or comedy specials.
