Senior Spotlight: Connor Petersen

Connor is another 4-year member of Orchestra. He also played in the front ensemble with Marching Band. He is looking to Major in Computer Science and Criminology at Moorpark College this fall.

Plan for the future: I will be attending Moorpark College and majoring in Computer Science and Criminology.

Travel aspirations: Taiwan

Proudest accomplishment: Graduating and seeing myself become a man.

Favorite Memory: Going on almost every ride at Disneyland with my friends.

Favorite musical piece/tune from high school: “Chopin's Nocturne Op 9, No 2”

Most underappreciated thing about high school: An orderly schedule and a feeling of normalcy.

Quarantine activities: Focusing most of my time coding and practicing both piano and violin.

What I've been watching in quarantine: “Westworld”

What part of the ACHS Music Program has had the most impact on you and why? Hanging out with the seniors as a freshman. It helped me make new friends and adjust to high school.

What would you say to your freshman self about the Music program if you could? Time goes by very fast.
