President's message regarding planning for Spring 2021 and the 2021-2022 school year

Dear parents and families,
I don't know about everyone else, but the excitement in our students returning to school, even if just for one day, is huge in my home. There are so many things to prepare for in this return so we can keep students safe. And in the music world, there are some promising things that will come with the safe return.
With that said, we will need volunteers moving forward to ensure our band program gets up and running in Spring 2021. We still do not know what Fall 2021 will look like, but assuming it will be a little open means more opportunities for our students to play.
First thing coming up is the election of new Music Booster Board Members. The Parliamentarian needs 2 volunteers to work with her on the nomination process. Please email her at parliamentarian@achsmusic.com if you are interested.
Second, are you interested in being on the Board? Per our bylaws, we do a full board elect every year. We will fly the positions and the descriptions in a few weeks. If you want to gather information, please email me at president@achsmusic.com.
Lastly, fundraising is in full bloom. Our Director of Fundraising, Jennifer Blok, will have some activities coming soon for us all to participate in.
