Meet Megan DeBusschere

Megan DeBusschere is a Freshman who plays flute in Concert Band, a member of Marching Band. She also joined Winter Drumline on Vibes. Her favorite piece was "Midnight" by Ticheli, but we're thinking the fact that she had a solo in it may have influenced that selection.

Which non-music classes are you excited about next year? I’m excited about AP Euro.

Which course are you dreading? I’m dreading Chemistry.

Favorite teacher outside of the Music Department: My favorite teacher this year, besides Mr. Cook and Mr. G, was Mr. Sadowsky.

What piece of music have you spent the most time practicing? I have spent the most time practicing “How To Train Your Dragon.”

Favorite musical piece/tune from this school year? My favorite piece this year was “Midnight.”

With all of this time in quarantine, I have been... I have been practicing the Winter Drumline show, but I was getting bored so I printed out one of the marimba parts and I have been practicing that on the piano.

What I've been watching in quarantine: I binged The “Fosters” for the second time.
