Meet Matthew Moriarty

Matthew is a versatile member of the music dept and also a member of the ACHS Tennis Team. He plays Clarinet, Trombone, Mellophone and marched Bass Drum!

Favorite teacher outside of the Music Department: Mr. Duran

What piece of music have you spent the most time practicing? The winter drumline show “Wither”

Favorite musical piece/tune from this school year? “Bap Boo Dah”

What part of the ACHS Music program has had the most impact on you and why? The marching arts programs (marching band and indoor drumline) have had the largest impact on me, as they have taught me a great deal about commitment and hard work, and I have made many great friendships through the programs.
