Meet Haylee Smith

Haylee is a member of AVID, where she is a standout. She's also moved her way up to Wind Ensemble Honors on flute. Her favorite piece this year has been "Suite from Symphonie Fantastique."

Which non-music classes are you excited about next year? My “Harry Potter” English class.

Which course are you dreading? Everything but the “Harry Potter” English class.

Favorite teacher outside of the Music Department: I have mostly been doing homework and cleaning.

What piece of music have you spent the most time practicing? I have spent most of my time practicing “Sun Dance” and other stuff my private teacher has been assigning me.

Favorite musical piece/tune from this school year? “Suite from Symphonie Fantastique” has been my favorite.

With all of this time in quarantine, I have been... doing homework and cleaning.

What I've been watching in quarantine: I’ve mostly been playing a video game called Neverwinter with my dad. I haven’t binged any shows yet.
