Updated donation progress and targets - May 2021
Updated: Jun 6, 2021

In a typical year, Music Boosters pay about $185,000 toward funding the Music Programs. Donations pay for about 50%. Fundraising makes up the difference.
While this year is different than any other, the Music Directors and staff are still working hard to provide the students the specialists they have come to expect, who are geared towards specific instruments and skillsets (voice and colorguard) in our wide sprawling program and offerings.
Thank you to everyone who has made a donation so far. Shown here are the donations made toward the program as of May, 2021. As you can see, we are still in need of donations in every area to meet our goals. If you pledged to make a donation in the fall but have not yet been able to donate toward that pledge, please consider donating now.
While we can't place a specific dollar amount on expected donations, we have shared the overall donation goals for each ensemble in the program on our Donate Page.
Note that these overall targets were adjusted to reflect 2020-2021 expectations for a primarily distance or hybrid learning environment.
Donations
Donations can be made at any time and are tax deductible. Please consider donating now toward programs in which your student is currently participating. Details on how to donate are on the Donate Page. Please indicate your student's name and the relevant ensemble(s).
Reminder: Check with your employer for matching donations
Many local employers have programs to match employee donations. The ACHS Music Boosters is a 501(3)(c) nonprofit, and all donations are tax deductible and eligible for matching programs.
