Marching Band show has good run at Royal Classic

The Marching Scorpions improved their score by only two-tenths but had a far better run on the field that staff was extremely proud of, particularly after an abnormal week of rehearsals, Director Daniel Cook said about the Royal Classic Field Tournament on Oct 12.
"To top it off, we took the second highest score for the entire tournament against much stiffer competition. We look forward to adding the fourth movement this week and continuing to build off of this strong opening to the season," he said..
The next competition is the Kennedy Field Tournament, Oct. 19, in Anaheim. This is also the optional Disney overnight trip, so if your student is not staying, they will need to be picked up after the tournament and checked out by a director. More information on this will be announced this week.
We will need a full contingent of competition volunteers and a few people to help make lunches for the students on Saturday. Please see the Volunteer Page to sign up to help out with either of these tasks.
