Ensembles perform well at Westlake Jazz Festival
Jazz II under the direction of director Cameron Guerrero took fourth place in the Intermediate Division, and the Sixth-Period Jazz Combo placed third in the Novice Combo Division during the Westlake High School Jazz Festival on Saturday.
"Mr. Cook and I are happy with the way that all jazz ensembles performed on Saturday and appreciate the hard work of all our students. I am especially proud of my Jazz II students, who raised their score by more than 10 points from the NPHS Festival with an entirely new set of music," Guerrero said.
