Winter Guard scores 54.68 in season's first show
Winter Guard competed in its first Winter Guard Association of Southern California competition on Saturday, scoring a 54.68 and taking 4th place at Mayfair High School in Lakewood.
Director Daniel Cook said this was a strong debut for the ensemble, which would have placed third without penalties. "We're excited about the strong start and look forward to the rest of the season," he said.
The next Winter Guard competition is March 2 for Signature Show North at Monrovia High School. The itinerary has been posted to the calendar.
