Deadline nears for jazz mentorship program
The Los Angeles Jazz Society is now accepting applications for the 2019 Bill Green Mentorship Program in which selected music students receive 10 weeks of free training in advance music techniques from professional musicians.
The final workshop is a professional recording session with each student receiving a CD of the session. Students and mentors also perform in a jazz concert. the application deadline is Jan. 23 with auditions scheduled for Jan. 26.
