ACHS Boosters fundraising update
Thank you to all the sponsors, golfers, diners and volunteers who made Monday's ACHS Music Golf Tournament a big success - and the Acorn for coming out to cover the event (picture above). Our first event of this sort brought in about $5,400. Not bad for a first golf tournament. While we are touting numbers, here are a few more:
Second Annual Notes Uncorked brought in about $1,500, exceeding last year
Pie sales brought in about $2,000, selling 604 pies
Our fundraising goal for the year isn $140,000 and we currently are at $97,100, and that does not include the $35,000 we need for our share of the cost of new Marching Band uniforms. So, keep working hard and spread the word about upcoming events. It takes all of us to keep these programs running.
