Color Guard Caption Head

Joey Leon is the new Color Guard Caption Head at Adolfo Camarillo High School. He is a certified Physical Therapist Aide in the state of California, having worked for a private sports therapy rehabilitation clinic for the last 6 years in Downtown Los Angeles. 

​

Currently, he is the Color Guard Program Director at El Segundo High School, the 2019 WGASC Scholastic AA class Champions and Crescenta Valley High School, the 2019 WGASC Regional A class Champions. He is also a choreographer for the WGI 2019 Independent A Class Champions, Icon Winterguard. Joey judges for the WCPA, a small circuit based out of the high desert area, who’s objective is to provide a healthy and positive arena for young performers.

Joey has had the privilege of performing with distinguished world class groups such as the Santa Clara Vanguard and Diamante Winter Guard. He has learned so much by working alongside and performing under mentors like Frank De La Rosa, Patty Stetson, Randy Nelson and Jack Pursiful, to name a few.

Joey is excited to bring an inspiring new culture to ACHS where he hopes to instill positive growth and teach life skills through
color guard .
