Volunteer

Volunteers pitch in to keep programs running smoothly

The ACHS Music Department programs rely on the volunteers who show up for every football game, chaperone students to competitions, maintain uniforms, load and drive the equipment truck, work in the snack shack, solicit auction items and more. There are so many ways you can help. If you would like to volunteer for something specific, email the Music Boosters and let us know. Boosters will send out a Sign-Up Genius via email for upcoming events for which volunteers are needed. Below are current volunteer needs and SignUps.

We are still looking for a Director of Fundraising for the 2019-20 school year. We also have a variety of event coordinator positions and activity volunteers who are needed to make this year successful. Please download the description sheet to see where you can help out. If you are interested, email the Music Booster President, Jennifer Clark, and let her know what you would like to do.

We need a few parent volunteers to help out with the Snack Shack from 2:45 to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday on regular schedule and 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. on Collegial Days. Please email Lupe Peters to schedule a shift if you can help out. This is one of the largest fundraisers we have. We could also use donations of inventory. There is a specific list of items that can be sold, so if you can donate please use the SignUp Genius to donate.

ACHS Music Boosters are hosting two polling precincts for the March 3, 2020, primary election. We need eight people per shift to work the polls with us and one person to volunteer as an inspector. There are new voting machines this year so each volunteer will have to attend a training session. Sign up to help and see democracy in action.

The ACHS Music Department will host its first concert festival March 25-28 at Rancho Campana Performing Arts Center. We will divide volunteers hours with SOKM and the RCHS Music Department. SOKM will staff March 25, and RCHS will staff March 26. The ACHS Music Boosters will staff both March 27 & 28.  We will add volunteer slots for concessions as soon as that information is available. Please note when you sign up that there are slots for students and adults and sign up appropriately.
