Trumpet virtuoso to perform Nov. 20


Jens Lindemann & the UCLA Brass Ensemble will be playing at 4 p.m. Nov. 20 at 1600 E, Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks.

The Ascension Lutheran Church web site says Internationally renowned trumpet soloist Jens Lindemann has achieved a critically acclaimed career as one of the world’s great virtuosos. From the New York Philharmonic and the London Symphony to the Great Wall of China; from the Berlin Philharmonie and the Canadian Brass to Tokyo’s Suntory Hall; from a Grammy nomination, Jens Lindemann has performed every style of music and entertained every audience imaginable. He has won first prizes in the most important classical trumpet competitions in the world.There will be a freewill offering with a reception following the concert.

Mr. Cook is offering this as an EXTRA CREDIT OPPORTUNITY for those who need to make up for a missed practice or performance. Enjoy the concert and fill out an Extra Credit Concert Report to turn in to Mr. Cook for extra credit.
